recently i been involving in something very different from all stuff related to electrical and computer engineering that i've learned and tried (mostly by self exploration).
i've done lots of programming, it related-things, networking,database, artificial... image processing
but i never try ic design before, it's microelectronic subject which is quite fun but not trivial. i still need to do some revision and study (duh)
hope i can gain a lot of experience this will contribute to my mission of becoming a multi-discipline computer engineer .... :)

personally i recommend option no 2. you won't regret it
what i like most in this movie is not the suit but the intelligence computer system.
it's just way too awesome!!

in previous versions of ubuntu, if we want to change default gnome-terminal window size we will need to modify the /usr/share/vte/termcap/xterm file.
anyhow in ubuntu 10.04 the default size use setting from gconf profile.
so, anyone that upgrade to 10.04 from previous version might have problem as default key wont be add automatically into your gconf.
quick fix for this problem is by adding the default size into terminal profile (in this case Default profile)
gconftool-2 --set \
/apps/gnome-terminal/profiles/Default/default_size_columns \
--type integer 135
gconftool-2 --set \
/apps/gnome-terminal/profiles/Default/default_size_rows \
--type integer 25

pidgin's psychic mode plugin is awesome. it detect the presence of incoming messages by sensing another person typing.
if you fast enough to catch the disturbance notify, you might type "what??" first and that will surely make your friend stop for a second! haha ~~
so, to enhance it awesomeness, i add a simple auto send message to them using purple_conv_im_send_with_flags function.

ok.. now lets create our plugin. first you need to download pidgin source code
apt-get source pidgin
cd pidgin-2.6.6
./configure --disable-screensaver --disable-startup-notification --disable-gtkspell --disable-gstreamer --disable-vv --disable-idn --disable-meanwhile --disable-avahi --disable-nm --disable-perl --disable-nss --disable-gnutls --disable-tcl --disable-tk
yes, configure it like this because all we want is to compile the libpurple plugin. if you know any other better way please let me now. next lets patch & compile the plugin
cd libpurple/plugins/
wget -c http://wan.pengganas.net/sampah/psychic.c.patch
patch psychic.c < psychic.c.patch
build the plugin
make psychic.so
backup old plugin and replace with new one
sudo mv /usr/lib/purple-2/psychic.so /usr/lib/purple-2/psychic.so.bak
sudo cp psychic.so /usr/lib/purple-2/psychic.so
restart your pidgin and test it ... have fun!!

hebatnya filem - filem malaysia sekarang,
zaman 90an dahulu, kisah cinta terlarang menjadi modal
akhir 90an ke awal tahun 2000, cerita lawak berdasarkan situasi dijadikan asas filem
awal 2000 pula menyaksikan kisah polis dan anggota penyelamat (walaupun bagus tapi agak boring & skema) sebagai trend
sekarang dah advance, isu rogol, rempit, dadah dan bohsia menjadi ilham .... dan aku bajet mungkin tak lama lagi diikuti kisah kisah gangster kat malaysia, tiga line & pekida apa jadah semua tu.
sekarang kita cuba nak jadi macam filem hongkong. menjadikan kehidupan jenayah & kerosakkan sosial sebagai modal untuk buat filem. bezanya sedap dengan tak sedap je.
semakin banyak filem/drama di buat, semakin banyak dan berani adegan adegan "panas" di lakonkan.
mungkin tak sepanas cara barat melakokannya, tapi adegan macam ni akan jadi trend kat malaysia tak lama lagi.
pastu banyak gak aksi mat rempit serta mat mat lain seangkatan dengannya di lakonkan dengan gaya yang penuh cool dan hebat. ini mungkin akan menjadi ikutan budak budak zaman skarang.... tahniah
sebagai umat islam di negara islam, aku turut berasa malu.
suatu ketika dahulu aku di ajar, filem barat ni banyak keburukkan, cium sama romen sini. sama gak dengan filem hindustan, joget sana sini... golek golek bersentuhan lelaki perempuan.
tapi kesian, aku cukup bersimpati... filem negara kita mula menuju ke arah seperti itu
hanya satu ayat yang mampu aku ucapkan... anda gagal!
p/s: aku menantikan filem/drama yang macam xx-ray zaman 1992 dulu dulu tu, tapi versi yang bukan buat bagaikan melepas kentut di dalam lift. aku nak yang serius, bukan yang sekeji misi xx-ray (drama), pepaya, kapten kid dan .... entah aku pun tak sanggup hafal
