as far as i know, people don’t prefer using linux as thier main OS for daily usage because of linux not-so-friendly user interface and require a lot command lines (CL). then from there linux evolved and developer emphasise more on user friendly interface. Ubuntu for example try to be as user friendly as possible with a lot of program in GTK version.

unfortunately, i don’t understand why there are still some people who bother try to make simple thing compilated by bothering using CL ? instead of using Synaptic, they use Aptitude. with Synaptic,adding third party repo can be done easily yet they still make it hard try to edit source.list manually.

dude, i know, u did it on purpose of learning. but there’s sometime we didnt have to use CLI just to show ur l33t. i prefer GUI,so what’s the big deal? that doesnt mean i cant use CLI

btw, i prefer vim and nano for file editing,esspecially files that located deep in filesystem folder. i feel like accessing them faster.

so,the moral is.. let use GUI instead if CLI hehe.. people hardy delevop those..why waste it? oh yayaya.. using GUI will make u like a windows user. so what? you are a windows user before! who give a damn about it?
