i cant think A blog belong to Mohammad Azwan bin Ali. it provide you a tips and trick on how to manage power consumption by your desktop/laptop so you can reduce it. according to that site description, it contain a set of tips and tricks, contributed by community members and Intel engineers, to help you find the best power tuning for your laptop, desktop, or server. so if you are linux-user and want to save power, check it out... oh ya, you can also submit your tips and trick on how to reduce power usage.

actually,i'm googling on how to maximize wireless connectivity. it's ok then,because this web give me an idea how to burst my wireless. using this command

$ iwpriv eth1 set_power X
replace X with number below

• 0 AC - Always ON
• 1-5 Different levels of power management. The higher the number, the greater the power savings, but with an impact to packet latencies.
• 6 AC - Always ON
• 7 BATTERY - Default setting for battery mode
• >7 AC - Always ON

*** instead of setting it to 5, i set it to 0 which mean no power saving.

oh ya, another alternative to see what eating your notebook power is that by using powertop. it can suggest you on how you can improve it.
to install powertop easily follow this command
$ sudo apt-get install powertop
and start with
$ sudo powertop
