can someone give one solid reason why the hell we need any antivirus software for linux ????

what’s with your super duper reason of using linux — “it got no bloody virus to screw your desktop up”

i’m wondering why you developer people so busy porting useless windows app for linux. why dont you port any games or interesting thing from windows… (AV is not interesting app!)
try porting some cool games (like cabal online for now).. that would be tremendously great

one more thing, why the hell you linux user use crappy firewall apps for you desktop??? (some even install multiple of version of them) for god sake, i’m telling you that you wont need that. you just wasting your computer memory??

1. there’s no virus to steal and send your information through internet.
2. nobody want to hack your desktop/laptop. there’s nothing in there except you have nasty 3gp (with you as the main actor).
3. still scared and fobia of h4×00r (like k10 society) ?? just type this in your magic command
iptables -t filter -P INPUT DROP
4. still scare????? unplug your cable/turn of wifi radio.. boot into windows, play some games.

you’re blaming linux for being slow.. but it’s you who use linux like windows (windows need a bunch of optimzer and AV’s tooo! while linux don’t!)

so, please apt-get remove this-nonsense-packages-for-the-love-linux
oh ya.. dont forget the –purge option too!
